The Clarence Valley Council Open Spaces team have built an elevated walkway over the existing path at Convent Beach in Yamba to allow water to drain freely below.

This project was brought on following reports of a slippery path. The new walkway is micro-mesh similar to what is currently being installed on the zig-zag path to Main Beach Yamba.

The material provides good grip, allows sand and water to drain through, and is suitable for marine environments.
