Yamba surfer Frank Murphy finished second in the NSW Longboard Titles completed at the Port Stephens Surf Festival on Sunday June 24. Murphy fought a tight battle with Avalon’s Max Weston, who put on an impressive display of traditional and exciting front-side turns to post a respectable 14.6 heat total, ahead of Murphy by less than half a point.
