McKimms Real Estate in Grafton has taken out the naming rights to the July Racing Carnival’s main race, The Grafton Cup. The draw for the naming rights took place at the Kensei Club’s formal dinner, which was held at the Clarence River Jockey Club on Saturday night. Winners of last year’s Kensei Club, Herb Blanchard Haulage, took out second place winning the naming rights of the support race on the Crowe Horwath Ramornie Day. Bloomer Transport won third place with the TAB Race Day. Around 100 people attended The Kensei Club dinner and enjoyed the fun of the naming rights draw. McKimms director Adam Crawley said that he was over the moon win the win. “It’s the 65th year of business for McKimms,” said Mr Crawley. “It’s going to be a good July carnival.”
