Squash – Last week we had one of the best games played at the centre. Two top A Grade squash players Michael Davidson & Ashton Anderson had a marathon five set match lasting well over the hour. Going point for point in the final set, Ashton called a short game only to fall short 15-14, although they were both even on points (63-63); Adrian Pryor def Lauren Illig 15-11, although Lauren won on points (67-60), having another five set match; Jim Croft def Anna Snape 15-10 & our two youngest players Sam Cashman def Sam Brendon 15-10 in a great match also. Cricket – Last week we had our first game of indoor cricket, for the season & what a great game it was. Brushgrove batted first & scored 159 runs, then GIO Gents went into bat, & reached the score with two balls to go scoring 162. We will start the competition in the next couple of weeks.
