Our meeting on Monday October 26 was attended by 32 members with 10 apologies and two visitors. It was held at our premises on River Street Maclean which is now to be known as the RSL Hall. We welcomed new affiliate member Carol Young. A decision has been made to fly a “Lest We Forget” pennant at the Townsend Memorial Wall flag pole. Steve Walton has been nominated as our delegate to Congress this year, this will be a virtual Congress. Remembrance Day this year will be an abbreviated service due to Covid-19. The Sub Branch has now been added to the list of available nominees for the IGA loyalty card, put our name out there and it will assist with our fundraising. We will be selling Remembrance Day tokens at SPAR on 5/11, Maclean Bowling Club 6/11 and IGA 7/11. Trevor Plymin OAM JP
