Ablaze with colour – CCDBC support ‘Loud Shirt Day’

The sixties, seventies and eighties gave us some seriously loud prints. CCDBC members headed to their local opportunity shop or searched their wardrobes all in fun to show their support for Loud Shirt Day. Prizes were on offer for the best and brightest shirt, the most hideous shirt, and the most outrageous outfit. And the paddlers did not disappoint! What a bright and loud dragon boat we were when we launched from Moby Dick boat ramp. Monies raised on the day will help Hear and Say buy resources for parents and therapists to assist their child’s development or help cover the cost of a video therapy lesson for a deaf child living in a small town or support a child to receive speech and language assessments to ensure key milestones are being met or support regular social skills activity sessions for children, siblings and parents. Thanks so much for being a part of Loud Shirt Day 2020! Clarence Coast Dragon Boat Club did it with PIZZAZZ! Remember it may sound a little strange and mythical, but dragon boating is becoming an increasingly popular form of fitness.
