Maclean Men’s Bowls

The final of the Club Open Triples was played last Thursday evening.
Kerry Wells team of Rex Wiseman and Len Everson commenced well and at the mid-point were leading by the odd shot. The second half saw Don Plummer’s team of Michael Bailey and Trevor Johnson hit their straps to grind their opposition down. It was a high class match with excellent bowls played by both teams. Congratulations to Don’s team on a great win and a well done to Kerry’s team as the runners-up.
The first round of the Club Open Pairs was played on Sunday morning.
For full results of matches played in both Championships plus matches set down for future play.
