Due to changed circumstances, the Lions Club of Maclean is selling their annual Christmas raffle tickets outside BCU on the sidewalk ‘blister’ under the trees.

This has been facilitated with the kind cooperation of the Cane Growers Association, who have allowed Maclean Lions to store their raffle paraphernalia on their premises, making the set-up and pack-up much easier, especially for the older members and volunteers. Due to the logistical changes, there is no traditional ‘Stocking’, but rather several spending vouchers as well as a donated junior bicycle, and a set of travelling suitcases.

Large and small Christmas cakes as well as Christmas puddings are on sale. Since the raffle and cake sale is only open from 9am to 12pm, the cakes are also available at several local venues.

• Return & Earn Office (open Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday – mornings only).
