Grafton Breast Cancer Support Group

Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2023 to all!

The Grafton Breast Cancer Support Group will NOT be meeting in December as we will be having a Christmas lunch together.
Thanks to everyone who has been involved with and/or supported our group this year.
We always have so many people in need to help, so it’s great to “keep the ball rolling”.
Our support group is here to help any person with or who has had breast cancer and their carer’s within the Clarence Valley.
Funds and practical help is available for breast cancer patients, at any stage of the journey.
Gift vouchers for all sorts of services are available through the Grafton Base Hospital Oncology department via the Breast Care nurse.
Our support group can help with the purchase of oncology massages, mastectomy and lumpectomy undergarments, wigs, lymphoedema sleeves, prostheses, partial payment of medical scans, travel expenses and home help.
For those who have lost their hair as a result of chemotherapy; a reminder that Grafton Base Hospital Oncology has a wig-lending library where you can borrow a wig until you don’t need it anymore. What a great asset for our community!
If you need any help, please contact us.
