Maclean Library refurbishment

Capture   The borrowers and users of Maclean Library are loving the new bench tops and computer desks made by the Clarence River U3A Men’s Shed. The bench tops are made from camphor laurel and the computer desks from pine timbers. New carpet, internal painting and quirky artworks are also new for the Library. Regional Librarian, Kathryn Breward thanked the Men’s Shed for their dedication and enthusiasm for undertaking this work for the Library.  “It is very special to have the local Men’s Shed contribute to the Library in this way,” Ms Breward said. Membership for the Maclean Library is free and the one library card can be used at all Libraries across the Clarence Valley.
