Last Wednesday, September 9, Maclean ladies played an 18-hole stroke for the 9th monthly medal. The event was sponsored by Pat Harris and Mary Moore. Cathy Ayres won the Division 1 medal having the best nett and the best gross in that Division. Sherree Forsythe was the nett runner up and also took the NTP. In Division 2 , Val George had the best nett and the best gross to win that medal and Lexie Simmons was NTP. O’all NTP on the 7th (sponsored by Playmore Golf at Yamba) was Helen McFarlane and on the 11th (Sponsored by Sue and John Fong Kee), Chris Forrester. Sue Fong Kee had the least putts. Club balls were handed to Judy Parkes, Di Moore, Molly Plunkett, Nancy Commerford, Chris Picton, Pat Harris, Monica Crittenden and Joy Studdon. Congratulations to Kim Moore and Lexie Simmons, the winners of the 4bbb Stableford Knockout having defeated Ros Jacobs and Sandra Youlten in the final match play round last Monday. Today’s game at Maclean is an 18-hole single Stableford sponsored by the Maclean Flower Box. A good field has nominated considering that Monday and Tuesday Maclean Ladies were playing in the Two Day Tournament. We thank all our many and varied sponsors for their assistance over the two days of our Tournament, without your help small Clubs like ours could not manage to hold events of this nature.
