Nominations are also open for our Club Mixed Pairs 2019. Playing dates are also on the nomination sheet on the men’s noticeboard. This will be run as a set play format with sectional play and knockout system therefore dependant on nominations as to number of sections. However the top eight will compete in knockout play

Minor Singles semi finals: Peter Hurst d Bob Mansfield 31/21; John Hupfield d Kim Frazer 31/19.
The Minor Singles final had two great mates doing battle against each other. Usually you will find them playing together most weeks on the greens but this saw them for the first time ever against each other. Peter jumped out of the blocks to a 10-0 lead playing very consistent and picking John off at every chance if he got one close. In a very consistent display by Peter he held this ascendency even as John kept getting bowls close to count. Peter crowned 2019 Minor Singles champion 31/14.
