Our final meeting for the year was followed by a fun and festive time with Maclean Public School Year six students, with teacher Elizabeth Moore entertaining members and visitors with traditional Christmas carols as well as Australian adaptations. Everyone enjoyed their skill and charm. Maclean Public school donated funds to the CWA this year as part of their partnership with Origin Energy’s “Energy for schools” program. Most appreciated by CWA. A valued Maclean CWA member, Val Thomson was surprised by a presentation of a long service award by president Leonie Skinner. Well done Val. Maclean CWA members wish everyone a happy and safe Christmas and New Year. Next meeting is second Wednesday in February 2016.
