Lookout for Motorfest

Grafton Vintage Motor Vehicle Club has started planning for Motorfest 24 which will be held on Sunday August 25 at Jabour Park, South Grafton.

This year we are celebrating “Ford” cars and there are three classic Ford models celebrating significant milestones in 2024. It is the 60th Anniversary of the Ford Mustang, 55th Anniversary of the Mk.1 Capri and the 35th Anniversary of the Australian built Capri Convertible.

Motorfest events have been run by the club since 2018. The GVMVC is planning to build on the outstanding success of the past two Motorfest events when we had over 300 vintage and classic cars, race cars, vans and motorcycles on show at Jabour Park. The Club donates to charity from each event with $2,000 donated to the Westpac Helicopter Rescue Service from the proceeds of Motorfest 23.

The Club would like to see even more vintage and classic vehicles and visitors at Jabour Park, South Grafton, on Sunday August 25 at Motorfest 24 to help us celebrate Ford cars, especially the Mustang and Capri models.

Motorfest 24 will have something for everyone:

• Classic and vintage cars, race cars, motorcycles & vans – for the enthusiast and those who appreciate beautiful machines.
• Entertainment for all the family, including live music, Bonsai displays and also balloon shapes for the kids as well as a variety of market stalls for mum & dad.
• Food and drinks will be available around Jabour Park with coffee van, drink stalls, ice cream vendor and the Club canteen.
• Highway Patrol, SES, Rural Fire Service and other community displays.

We would like to thank all our sponsors who generously support our Club and Motorfest 24 including our major sponsor, Benny’s Grafton Smash Repairs.

So, if you would like to bring your vintage or classic car to show it off, or just want to have a look at some well-loved and presented pieces of motoring history come along to Motorfest 24 at Jabour Park and help us celebrate some classic Ford vehicle milestones.
