Locals pay their respect to the Queen

Members of the Clarence Valley community were given an opportunity to pay their respect to Queen Elizabeth II at a Thanksgiving Service which was held at Grafton’s Christ Church Cathedral on Saturday morning.

Those attending were encouraged to write their personal thoughts and condolences, as they entered the cathedral.

A special thanksgiving service was held at Christ Church Cathedral in Grafton on Saturday morning, to reflect on the Life and Work of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Image: Lynne Mowbray

The special service was attended by Clarence Valley Mayor Ian Tiley and students and representatives of the Clarence Valley Anglican School who were acknowledged for their contribution and involvement in the Thanksgiving service, for the Life and Work of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.
