Ed, A massive thank you to Jo and staff at the Yamba Golf Club, the Yamba Lions Club and the community who supported our recent Light Up the Darkness trivia night. The night was a roaring success with 93 people testing their trivia knowledge and having a few laughs while raising money for our Mental Health Advocacy Group. We raised a staggering amount of over $1300. This money will be used to provide two Mental Health First Aid Workshops in Maclean and Yamba in the coming months. These workshops will be offered to anyone in the community and will be promoted widely once we are in a position to do so. Also, we are raffling an artwork donated by local artist John Millington worth $2,500. This gorgeous artwork, of the Yamba Pool during a storm, will be hung at Irons and Craig until Mental Health month in October. Tickets are $10 each.
