Last week the newly elected Jacaranda Festival Committee confirmed the preliminary new look program for the 2016 Jacaranda Festival. Now the committee is looking to the talented Clarence Valley community for help delivering these exciting events and program changes during the 2016 Jacaranda Festival. All volunteer event management positions are currently vacant including Team Leader positions and Sub Committee positions. Persons interested in being part of the Festival can volunteer to take on large or small roles. Job descriptions for the event Team Leaders and subcommittee members are now available on the Jacaranda Festival website www.jacarandafestival.org.au and are open to anyone looking to be a part of the Jacaranda Festival. The Clarence Valley community is home to a wide variety of talented people and the Jacaranda Festival Committee would like to see as many of these people involved with the Festival as possible. Closer to the Festival dates (this year’s Festival will run from Saturday 29th October to Sunday 6th November 2016) we will be recruiting members for our “Purple Army”. These are a group of Volunteers available and willing help out during the 2016 Jacaranda Festival.
