Invitation from Maclean Patchwork & Quilters

Claudette wants to extend an invitation to patch workers, new or experienced, in the Maclean district to think about the benefits of joining our Quilters group.

Maclean Patchwork and Quilters have gathered every Tuesday over the past thirty-three years. It has been a great journey, meeting new friends and farewelling some during this time. 2023 promises to be a rewarding year.

We would love to extend a welcome to new members looking to start their patchwork journey or to enhance it. We can offer lifelong friendships and a vast base of knowledge of all things Patchworking, including, quilting, hand sewing, embroidery, cross stitching, applique’, paper piecing, foundation piecing. We hold Inhouse workshops each month and the chance to attend outside workshops when they are available.

Beginners are welcome and experienced patch workers valued.

Maclean Patchwork and Quilters is having an ‘Airing of the Quilts’ on the Easter weekend in conjunction with the Highland Gathering celebrations. So, mark April 7-8 in your diaries, and come along and view these beautiful quilts at The Maclean Uniting Church Hall, Church Street, Maclean, enjoy morning tea or our sales table of handmade items and fabrics, we will be also raffling off a stunning quilt.

We are all looking forward to 2023 and wish everyone a positive and rewarding 2023. Our group meet every Tuesday 9am – 2pm at the Maclean Uniting Church Hall, Church Street, Maclean, new members welcome. Contact Sue on 0408 190 697.
