Wednesday July 22 started with showers but cleared up for the 18-hole golfers and we didn’t have another drop. It did however become quite cold around mid-day and everyone was glad to finish and come into the clubhouse. One nameless lady landed in the bunker on 8th – hit it out into the opposite bunker, then took a drop and put it back in!

The ladies played a single Stableford and Skins kindly sponsored by Margaret Ridley and Colleen Hartcher who chose a Christmas in July theme for their much-appreciated prizes.

We welcomed Gill and Ellie to play 18-holes, they are enthusiastic members of the 9-hole ladies’ and we look forward to them playing with us more often.
