A man known to visit Iluka has been reported missing and police are appealing for information from the public to locate him.

Jason Bowman was last seen at a home on Browns Road, Yarrahapinni, north of Kempsey, about 9pm on Sunday, February 11.

As the 49-year-old has been unable to be located since, he was reported missing to officers from the Mid North Coast Police District, who commenced inquiries into his whereabouts.

As he has been missing for more than a week, police and his family hold concerns for his welfare.

Mr Bowman is of Caucasian appearance, with a medium build, about 175 to 180cm tall, with short brown hair, unshaven and with blue/grey eyes.

He is known to utilise public transport and he frequents the Armidale, Stuarts Point, Iluka, and Sydney areas.
