Cats and kittens for adoption this week

We get all cats vet checked prior to adoption to make sure that we comply to the standards required by any pet shop. We have adopted out well over 1200 cats over the last 12 years and only a very very small percentage having developed any illness as a result of the change in environment but now we are being extremely careful. All our animals are microchipped, immunised and desexed as soon as possible after they arrive. Our Rehoming number is 251000043.

Rissa is a member of Rianne’s beautiful litter of five kittens. Four are torti girls and Rico who has already got a home the only boy. Rissa is a lovely torti fluffy young cat very affectionate demanding loves cuddles happy to be stroked and picked up. Cara is the mother of the C-team who were rescued in Maclean, Cara was found in a garage as the owner was packing to move out. She had a small dog and she worried whether he might have a go at Cara and her family of very young kittens. Cara is a beautiful friendly affectionate young mum who has bought up her young family to be the same. The whole family stayed in care until they were able to be desexed, immunised and chipped. This has now been done and they are now ready for their new homes. 991003000002509

Hillary is the son of Helsa who had her first litter at Townsend. Not long after Helsa arrived with the four older kittens we discovered she was pregnant again. She was too far along to do anything so a new litter arrived here at Happy Paws of which Hillary is one of seven born. A number of those kittens have found homes too. They have become the extended H team and are also beautiful, naughty, playful mischievous affectionate young cats ready to go to lovely new homes. Dogs for adoption for this week

Nevan came with two of his brothers and a sister. A farmer had surrendered them due to the bush fires and worried whether or not they would be safe or not. Mum was a koolie/kelpie and dad a border collie. These are very smart, mischievous, playful, loving affectionate pups needing training and a loving home with lots of mental and physical activities to stop them getting bored. They are now desexed, microchipped and have had their puppy vaccinations. 900079000630525

Zed came to Happy Paws Haven, his owner had rescued him from the pound to be a companion for her other older dog but he proved to be far too active for the older dog and the owner who also worked full time. Zed is a lovely friendly playful very smart dog with lots of energy so needs to be with an active owner who works from home or is able to him lots of different things to do to keep him both mentally and physically occupied. He loves being with people, playing with children and other dogs. Zed would make someone a good mate and loving companion. He is desexed, micro-chipped, immunised, up to date with parasite control ready for his new home.

My name is Marlin I came here with five other greyhounds who were surrendered by their trainer because he could not care for us anymore. We have learnt to play and not take life so seriously any more. We love to zoom and can be mischievous and very playful at times. We can be very lazy and just want to sleep in the sun or to be lounge lizards when we can. We make excellent companions as we loved to be stroked. I love it when my carer comes to sit with me and I just put my head in her lap. I am very loving and affectionate and just happy just to keep my carer company. .
