Cats and kittens for adoption this week

We get all cats vet checked prior to adoption to make sure that we comply to the standards required by any pet shop. We have adopted out well over 1200 cats over the last 12 years and only a very very small percentage having developed any illness as a result of the change in environment but now we are being extremely careful. All our animals are microchipped, immunised and desexed as soon as possible after they arrive. Our Rehoming number is 251000043

Erica

My name is Erica I was dumped in a box with 10 kittens outside one of the committee members house. She had lots of cats of her own and just could not afford to take on all of us so we went into foster care. As 6 of the 10 kittens were mine I decided to look after all of them. My carer helped me by bottle feeding some of them making sure everyone got enough. I held classes to teach them all what they needed to know to grow up to be loving cats. We have all an operation so we do not get pregnant. Now we are ready to find a wonderful loving homes. We are all loving friendly affectionate young cats. Once we had had the injections they decided to move me into a separate place with other cats a similar age to myself which I have enjoyed so far. I would love to be in my own home again and have a human to love me. My microchip: 900079000382721.

Loretta

My name is Loretta; I was dumped in a box with 3 other kittens outside a house up near Whiporie on the way to Casino. The person who found us could not afford to take us in so contacted Happy Paws Haven and they found someone to look after us. We are now about 8 months old and we have all had an operation and had our needles, now we are ready to find a wonderful loving home. We are all loving friendly affectionate young teenage cats full of mischief and love to play, we are curious about everything around us especially anything new. My microchip: 900079000382712.

Kisha

Kisha came to us with her mother and 4 siblings early in 2017. Her mother was found on a vacant property with no form of identification and no one knowing where she came from so we called her Kinki as she had a kink in her tail and some of the offspring do too! They were in foster care for some time as we had closed the kitten house and we were waiting for the new one to be modified and delivered. Kisha is a beautiful tabby teenager with special needs. She is extremely affectionate gentle loving very active very playful young cat who has been desexed, vaccinated and micro-chipped ready for her new home as are her whole family. She does have a couple of Idiosyncrasies, one is she demands affection, she will climb straight up you to get affection and attention and she does have a sinus problem so occasionally she becomes snuffley. She is really quite a character and we call her the 4 wheel drive cat. She is so funny and delightful at the same time. We recommend that her new owner should invest in a large crate or enclosure so that she can she can be locked away at night to enable her owner to sleep otherwise she will climb all over you while you attempt to sleep…she is very happy in a crate at night with plenty of room for her litter try a bed and some food and water. 991003000002515.

Dogs for adoption for this week

We get all dogs vet checked prior to adoption to make sure that we comply to the standards required by any pet shop. All our animals are microchipped, immunised and desexed as soon as possible after they arrive. All dogs are also tested to make sure that they do not have heart worm. We have rescued and adopted out well over 1300 dogs over the last 12 years. Our Rehoming number is 251000043

Romeo

Romeo came with Jesse as they are great mates. An unlikely couple that can be split up if required but it would be lovely if they can go together. Romeo unlike Jesse is good with other dogs and loves people. He is a gorgeous dog who needs a strong owner. He is a beautiful SharPei with a wonderful loving personality, he is desexed immunised micro-chipped and regularly treated for parasites. 900164000514888.

Max

Max was going to come to us to be rehomed, we had organised it with the owner and the trainer but they decided to for some reason give him one last race. At that race he crashed and broke his hock, the next morning Shane rang and told us what had happened and at that initially they thought it was sprained. After we had it x-rayed we sent the films to the specialist centre and they said it was broken but not badly displaced. That being the case Dr Sam Biddle the Senior vet at Riverbank Animal Hospital suggested that we splint him that it would mend in place. His leg is better now, but he still needs to be careful. He is walking and running normally chasing the ball which he loves. Max is a lovely greyhound, with a lovely temperament, extremely affectionate. He does sleep in a crate below a cat and takes no notice but if the cat was out running around it maybe a different story altogether. We have taken him into the cattery and on every occasion just lets them sniff him, walk around him, rub against and he really does not react much at all, even when they run past him he does not take a lot of notice. He has like all our animals been desexed, micro-chipped, immunised, heart worm tested, and regularly treated for parasites. 956000002817833.

Naylor

Naylor is a member of the N-Team, a litter of 8 pups, were surrendered in October 2015 they were about 7-8 weeks old at that time. They are border collie cross with probably a Bull Arab. Naylor has a lovely soft nature, but is very timid so needs more socialising with people so needs a special home with a very special person who has the time to build his trust in others and confidence in himself. Once he trusts you, he loves cuddles and wants to be with you but he needs a very special person who will have the patience as it will take time. In every other respect he is a normal playful young dog who still needs some training and loves playing with other dogs. He just needs that special someone with some patience and time to continue to earn his trust. The four who have found homes so far have turned into the most beautiful natured dogs and there is absolutely no reason why it should not be the same for Naylor and his sister and two brothers who are still here. They have had all their vaccinations, been desexed and microchipped so are ready for their new homes. There are four left as four have already found home. 943094320462406
