Essential Energy (EE) has made good on its promise to relocate an osprey nest in Yamba. This osprey was checking out its surroundings from its new nest early on Monday morning. The nest was relocated from atop a power pole on Yamba Road about 100 metres west of the new pole, which is located adjacent to the Yamba roundabout. Over recent weeks, EE also relocated an osprey at Brooms Head. Ospreys are listed as “vulnerable” in NSW under the Threatened Species Conservation Act 1995. Image: Geoff Helisma
