Halfway Creek Community Markets

The Halfway Creek Hall Winter Market was held on Sunday June 11.

The raffle prize winner was Dave from Copmanhurst who won a beautiful hand-made blanket. Thanks to Annette for creating and donating the blanket. Also, thanks to Glen, our local busker, for the music and Jacks Eggs for their donation of eggs and continual support. Our stallholder and visitor numbers have returned to a great vibe after a couple of years’ break due to Covid.
Our next market will be held on Sunday September 3.  There will be a multi-RFS brigade display part of the annual RFS Get Ready Weekend campaign. Local RFS brigades from Halfway Creek, Lantiza/Kungala, Glenugie and Corindi will be there to assist with any queries related to “Living Bush Fire Ready” plus activities for young and old. So please put it on your calendar to come out and browse amongst the stalls and enjoy the friendly atmosphere with some yummy food.  (8.30am-12pm, corner of Pacific Hwy and Kungala Road.)

Car booters and other stall holders welcome. Outside stalls only $5 and no need to book, or you can contact Lois 0427 492 060 ($5 per table undercover outside) or Liz 0407 761 515 for a $5 per table inside. Set-up time starts at 7am.

The 2023 Annual General Meeting followed by a general meeting will be held after the market has finished.
