Good news… at last for our U3A membership, we can bring you a Jabberfest meeting (the first for 2022) and the first for a very long time.

All being well we will meet on Monday February 14 with the morning commencing with a comprehensive overview of the programme for the year, presented by President Alysan Pender and a ‘heads and tails’ quiz conducted by Kevin Dixon, who will test our knowledge of Valentine’s Day [note the date].

The second session following morning tea will be a presentation by Nick Reeve on the climate change situation. 

We are looking forward to a great roll up on Monday February 14 at the New Life Church, Arthur Street, commencing at 10am.

Remember that we must still abide by the Covid rules and regulations; masks and distancing etc.

For the future months we can expect a most interesting list of guest speakers with the March Jabberfest being a “one on one” interview on the ‘life and times’ of Enid Bennett with her and Mike Gillespie.

Looking forward to catching up with everybody.
