Make sure you pick up a copy of the Clarence Valley Independent next week when we celebrate the upcoming 150th Grafton Show with a special feature.

We catch up with Ann Ford-Edwards and Hayley Barnard, fourth and fifth generations of the Ford family who have been closely associated with the Grafton Show since its inception.

We will also revisit some of the highlights of the event throughout its long and proud history, share insights from some of the volunteers who dedicate their time each year to organising, cataloguing, and displaying countless entries and exhibits, reveal the fascinating background story of the Grafton Showground’s iconic venue the T.J. Ford Pavilion, affectionately known as The Barn, and invite members of the local community to tell us why the popular annual event is such a wonderful attraction.

The next edition of the Clarence Valley Independent will hit the streets on Wednesday, April 17.
