Our May meeting was recently held, with and attendance 47, and apologies of 10. 

Guest speaker: Michelle McFarlane, Customer Care Specialist, Service NSW, spoke on services available to seniors, especially those with a pension or seniors health care card. She also mentioned getting an ID card, as well as, or in lieu of a licence. With medical forms for driving now done online by doctors, only reminder letters are sent out, not the form.

Correspondence in: letter from Westlawn Investments; letter from Fair Trading to check address; acceptance from guest speaker.

Out: Letter to Commonwealth bank; welcome letters to new members; letter requesting guest speaker; get well cards.

Bus trips: Tickets for next day coach trip, to Mystery venue on Friday June 28 have just on sale, and there are still spare seats. Four-day tour to Stanthorpe area from September 11, still has some seats still available. 

Soup day: Tickets for Monday June 17 have just on sale, bookings still being taken.

Poppies: For ANZAC wreath, anyone wishing to make poppies, contact committee. 

Activities: All will welcome more support.
