On Saturday April 1 at 1pm, 11 members arrived at the 500-yard mound enjoying milder conditions with a slight breeze from the northeast.
The good conditions helped in the resulting great scores which included 8 possibles being shot on the day, Andrew Kattenhorn scoring possibles in both shoots and taking the Off-Rifle and handicap in F Standard with John Bloomer close on Andrew’s heels also scoring a possible in both shoots. Derek Higgins won the handicap in Target Rifle with Steve Small taking the Off-Rifle prize and Ian Griffiths scoring a possible. Peter Brown won both the Off-Rifle and handicap in Hunter Class also shooting possibles in both shoots and Mitch Lovell shooting a possible. Tony McKenna was the only entry in F Open scoring 118.
