Grafton District Services Women’s Bowls
President Dawn welcomed all to bowls on Tuesday and it wasn’t long before we were all out on the Green and it turned out to be a lovely day for bowling.
Lucky rink was the condition of play today and the winners were: H. Barnier, M. McClaer and J. Weatherstone d A. Perkins, M. Buckley and B. Murray. Runner/up M. Elliott and J. Pugh d R. Foley and J. Solomon. Lucky loser was J. McPhee, D. Mason and J. Cooper def. by J. McDonald, M. Toovey and L. Robertson. Other result saw M. Firth, J. Morrissey and A. Williams d R. Macdonald, D. Lawson and N. Mawhirt.
Resting toucher today was not won and the competition was won by M. Toovey, D. Mason, R. Macdonald and M. Buckley.
There is a pair of new bowls shoes size 7 Greenz for sale at the club if anyone is interested please contact president Dawn. Also those of you who haven’t picked up your new shirts you may do so on Tuesday.
A reminder that we have our general meeting on next Tuesday 16 at 1.30pm in the Les Beattie Room.
Twilight bowls kicks off Thursday 11 at 6.15 for 6.30 start, its great to see so many teams entered and it is always an enjoyable night of bowls.
