Grafton CWA branch serve plenty of jacaranda spirit

It may have been the season for jacaranda ice cream, but members of the Grafton Country Women’s Association (CWA) Branch never miss an opportunity to share their delicious scones with the local community, especially during the 2022 Grafton Jacaranda Festival.

As the Jacaranda Thursday festivities attracted an enormous crowd to Grafton’s CBD on November 3, guests were welcomed into the CWA Rooms on the corner of Duke Street and served a delicious morning tea.

Describing Jacaranda Thursday as a wonderful community event, members also set up a stall in Market Square where their beautiful handicrafts were available for purchase with all proceeds raised going back to the Clarence Valley community.
