Members of the 2022 Jacaranda Royal Party visited several prominent locations and businesses and met a number of community groups throughout the Clarence Valley during the 2022 Grafton Jacaranda Festival.

On November 4, 2022 Jacaranda Ambassador Amanda Daffey, 2022 Jacaranda Princess Trinity Gutteridge, 2022 Jacaranda candidates Eva Miller and Kellie-Anne Goodwin, and 2022 Matron of Honour Gerelle Blanchard were special guests at Schaeffer House Museum in Grafton.

Home to a wonderful assortment of local history, including an impressive display of Jacaranda Festival memorabilia, the museum will one day welcome newspaper articles featuring their names and highlighting their achievements and contributions, along with photos and other precious mementos into their collection.

Prestigiously cared for by the dedicated volunteers of the Clarence River Historical Society (CRHS), the collection is one of the most significant community treasures in Northern NSW and has been widely admired by a high number of visitors during the festival this year.

CRHS President Steve Tranter said it was a great thrill to welcome the 2022 Jacaranda Royal Party to Schaeffer House last week.
