Grafton Chamber launch new website

The Grafton Chamber of Commerce launched their new website, during their monthly meeting at the Clocktower Hotel in Grafton, on Wednesday, 20 July. Guest speaker at the meeting, Clarence MP Chris Gulaptis, congratulated the executive of the Grafton Chamber on their new interactive website. Website creator Justin James addressed the meeting, giving those attending the Chamber breakfast meeting, a tour of the new web site. “The Grafton Chamber’s new logo is modern and fresh and in keeping with the historical architecture, combined with the topography,” said Mr James. Mr James stepped through each of the web pages, which gives members the opportunity to pay for membership, advertising and upcoming breakfast meetings, online. Grafton Chamber of Commerce president Phil Belletty said that the new website will give members the opportunity to access news and letters sent on behalf of the business chamber, to members of parliament etc. “This will give members an insight into the work that the Chamber does on their behalf,” said Mr Belletty. “We’re evolving now with a lot of businesses getting involved. “The executive are bringing younger members on board,” he said. Mr Belletty said that the Chamber is becoming more active lobbying government. “We need to keep the ideas which have been put to the government, active,” he said. “We need the government to understand the priorities of the business sector.” www.graftonchamberofcommerce.org.au
