Lynne Mowbray | The Grafton Chamber of Commerce is running a competition for businesses within the town, for the best Christmas decorated business or shopfront. Around 28 businesses have got behind the free competition ‘Bringing Christmas Back’, to help spread a little bit of Christmas cheer. Grafton Chamber executive member Carol Pachos said that it was a fabulous effort for the competitions first year. “The Chamber wanted to be proactive in creating a Christmas festive atmosphere especially around the CBD areas, which will not only have a flow on effect to our retailers in the lead up to Christmas, but will also bring something special to our whole community,” Carol said. “We have Loving Life FM as a sponsor (as well as the Grafton Chamber of Commerce) with some great advertising packages available for the winner. “This is the business community working together for a win/win for all involved and is just fantastic. “It is what I love about our community – working together for a positive outcome for all. “I can only think that next year will be bigger and better,” she said.
