Thursday 14th July The winter school holidays typically see reduced attendance at bridge … and Race Week even more so. A four-table Howell movement was played with Frances Hiatt and Dawn Martin winning from Heather Roland and Dennis Ford. Phil Bysher and Geoff Hiatt came third. Friday 15th July Only three tables today: Joan Stephenson and Jean Felton won. Heather Roland and Dennis Ford were second again and Dawn Martin and Joan O’Connor came third. South Grafton Bridge Club Tuesday 12th July Eight partnerships competed. Dawn Martin and Jean Felton were first with Tiny and Geoff Betts second. Pat McLennan and Frank Mack came third.
