The long-awaited return to the Westlawn Black & Gold Race Day is almost here with the first event of the famous July Racing Carnival.

After a challenging 2020 due to the restrictions surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic we are thrilled to announce that the iconic event will go ahead at the Grafton Racecourse on Sunday June 27. Westlawn has been sponsoring this community event for more than 35 years and takes pride in hosting a great day out for the whole family. As such, entry is free (including full access to members bar and grandstand)– courtesy of Westlawn – your community- minded finance, insurance, and accounting specialists.

All patrons, young and old, are encouraged to get into the Westlawn Race Day spirit by wearing the Westlawn colours of black and gold – with prizes to be won for the best dressed in the Fashions on the Field event, with categories for both adults and children. With the gates opening at 10:30am, the complimentary Westlawn Race Day entry provides a full racing program, Black & Gold Fashions on the Field, kids’ activities and Westlawn Wally will be out and about for photos.

Westlawn’s Investment Manager, Helen Commerford, says she has been involved with Westlawn Black & Gold Race Day since 1990 and, “this year is shaping up to be a fabulous return to the fun and atmosphere of previous years. We look forward to seeing everyone at the track for a fantastic family day of racing at one of the best courses in the country!”
