Motorists are advised of changed traffic conditions from Friday 25 June on Gulgan Road east of Mullumbimby to carry out maintenance work on the Wreckers Interchange Bridge over the Pacific Motorway.
The bridge will be closed for three days with detours in place to remove and replace the existing asphalt surface, improving journey quality and durability for all road users.
Work will be carried out from 9am on Friday 25 June and and is expected to be complete by 6am Monday 28 June, weather permitting.
Motorists heading south on the Pacific Motorway from Mullumbimby will need to access the motorway from the Brunswick South Interchange, while residents heading to Mullumbimby from east of the motorway will need to travel south on the motorway and make a U-turn at the Ewingsdale interchange.
Motorists are advised to allow extra travel time, drive to the conditions, and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
Transport for NSW thanks motorists for their patience during this time.
