Get Involved – Relay the Clarence Valley Way

Cancer Council’s week-long Relay the Clarence Valley Way event will be held from Saturday to Saturday November 7 – 14 streamed to Facebook. The event will still have all the key elements of Relay including: the Opening Ceremony setting the scene for the week ahead, a celebration of our Survivors and Carers who will receive special packs during the event, recognition of our generous event sponsors, turning the Clarence Valley Purple, a special HOPE Ceremony and the Closing Ceremony to wrap up the week. We will have plenty of challenges for our teams involved in Relay this year including a step challenge – ‘how many steps can your team complete in the week?’ – don’t forget to keep track! A Relay favourite Miss Relay will be back again this year – get out around town and share photos with us. Weally Wacky Wednesday will have a few work-out challenges you can join throughout the day thanks to Anytime Fitness as well as a painted hidden rock challenge. Get your steps in while searching for these specially decorated rocks, hidden across the Clarence Valley We also want to see photos or videos from your fundraising events, your messages of HOPE and photos of your team during the week of Relay! Don’t forget your Relay shirts, Hope bags and candles, available for a gold coin donation, can be picked up from Anytime Fitness in South Grafton any time leading up to the week of Relay. Post your photos and videos to the Grafton Relay For Life Facebook page and don’t forget to tag #relaytheclarencevalleyway2020 The Facebook page for this event is https://www.facebook.com/GraftonRelayForLife
