Ed, In conjunction with Yamba Museum, Marea Buist and I are looking to curate an exhibition in the museum later this year called ‘Freedom Ride’. The bus tour from Sydney University that was led by Charlie Perkins 40 years ago to tackle issues of racism. After the bus left Moree it came to Grafton and the students were hosted with local families and the Methodist Church. We are looking to interview anyone from the Clarence Valley who has any memories of this event or hosted these students.
