The new sponsors of the float procession Newcastle Permanent will be holding an information night for community groups, sports clubs and business that are interested in entering a float in the 2018 Newcastle Permanent Float Procession. It is your chance to hear from the Jacaranda Festival manager about this year’s categories, from long time participants, the marshals from Lions and the local police about. It’s your chance to ask questions, learn about the route and turning points, road safety and everything that goes it to create a prize-winning float. Held Wednesday August 29 from 5.30pm at the Workshop space in the Link Grafton Shoppingworld, Opposite Café 1851 Espresso. The cost to attend is free.
