Don’t wait until they fail to get them help

Now is the time, so that they can remain confident and happy at school

Students have had some difficult times – especially this year. A lot of parents have been at home and have found that their child or teenager needs more help than they knew. What to do?

The Education Centre, Grafton, has dedicated teachers and tutors who can help students fill in the gaps and start to work effectively towards a better understanding of their subjects. Adapting tuition techniques to match the individual qualities of each of their students is something in which the hand-picked teachers excel at. Our teachers have an excellent understanding of the current curriculum requirements

The Education Centre prides itself on supporting students with the work which they are doing at school. Keeping them up to speed and confident in their abilities.

The Education Centre offers tutoring for students of all ages from kindergarten to year 12.

Tuition is offered in Maths, English, Science, Reading and Language tuition in Arabic and French (in Centre) and Spanish, German, Japanese & Mandarin on-line.

Year 6 High School Preparation classes are also offered where students are taught valuable skills including planning, research and essay writing and presentation.

With the economy teetering, we have developed Academic Coaching Classes which are more affordable. These classes have a maximum of four students and are just $45 flat rate including GST. Coaching classes still offer personalised learning for students and are recommend for middle of the road to higher achieving students.

These lessons are done in Centre, but if the COVID-19 restriction come in, then they can be easily transferred to Zoom.

If we don’t have a teacher in Grafton to look after a certain subject, we have our teachers from Coffs Harbour & Woolgoolga to step in, on-line.

Since COVID-19 forced our lessons home, on-line, we have found this to be a great alternative, either as a regular lesson plan or in case of a situation where the student or teacher is away. We use Zoom or Lesson space as these are two platforms which support tuition.

The Education Centre is also an approved and registered NDIS Provider (NDIS no. 4050023650). We are proud to have satisfied the strict requirements regarding qualifications, experience, expertise and capacity.

The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is designed to fund and support people with a disability, to foster their independence and develop their ability to be actively involved in the local community. Selected Services are available for people with disabilities eg Literacy, Numeracy, Reading, Science, Mathematics,

Writing, Money Skills and more. Classes can be tailored to the students’ needs. What about pet ownership skills, how to perform well with public speaking? Children to adults can access these classes.
