Last week in the jackpot pairs (Thursday July 30) the winners were on Rink 6 – B Ashbrooke, S Keedle and I Knox, with the losers going to Rink 1 – S Scott, D Brown and A Morrison. The best Campbell’s resting toucher went to A Morrison at a time of 1:40 pm, the jackpot did not go off so will be $250 on Thursday August 13 and free games that day go to S Keedle and B Nichols.

Congratulations to S Bridle and R Wilkin for making the final of the A Grade, this game will be played next Saturday August 8 with a 1pm start with I Knox the marker.

Other Championship games set down are Pairs – D Blair and K Ainsworth v R Orr and L Preston; A McGill and G Ireland v B Nichols and K Power; J Ashenden and S Keedle v B Kenny and J Fisher, rollup at 1pm.

Also on Saturday August 8 the District Triples will be played (seniors) semi finals in the morning and the final Saturday afternoon.

As this Thursday is Dad’s Army for August and due to the fact we are playing fours, some teams will be required to play on the South Grafton green, this is to abide by the social distance rule, again a reminder you must be seated while inside both venues, surely you all must know what to do by now.
