Diabetic testing strips

Ed, The cutting out of diabetic testing strips to non – insulin dependent diabetics is a low act by a Government that has no idea of the plight of a diabetic person. All diabetic persons need to monitor and check the disease on a regular basis to satisfactorily mange the disease. Well controlled and managed diabetes is what it is all about, yet the uneducated, uninformed politicians who know everything, are prepared to have diabetics losing limbs and creating more major surgical operations as a result of neglect through the poor management of the disease. I have been a diabetic since 1992, test every morning to ensure that the insulin that I take is enough to control the condition and alter the taken amount if it is insufficient. The non – insulin dependent person must also regularly monitor his/her condition to see that it is not deteriorating. Why differentiate between the two types? Bruce Apps, Townsend
