Coutts Crossing croquet

It has been a quiet week on the lawns. Twice the AC players practiced ready for tournaments at Darling Downs, and showed excellent form.

Results

There was a full house for Ricochet. Marilyn Richmond had her best day beating Wayne Gadke 9-7 and Louise Lowe 11-5. Debbie MacIntosh returns to form with a 9-8 win over Rusty Case. Gillian Martin managed two good wins.

There was an excellent training session last Friday as the candidates for the first GC Pennants match against South West Rocks went through the drills. The team for the first match is Wayne Gadke, Phil Jordan, Pamela Gauci and Ken Davison in Div 2 and Sheila Foley, Helyn Davison, Paul and Kathy Schofied in Div 3.

Our first Saturday ‘Come and Try’ day was limited by threatening weather; no conditions to learn a new sport. You can come at other times and be sure of a smiling reception: call 0438 999 204 for details.
