Lynne Mowbray The Clarence Valley Seniors Computer Club held their annual open day at the Maclean Civic Hall, on Wednesday last week. Around 50 people attended the information morning which resulted in the sign up of another 25 new members. CV Seniors Computer Club vice-president Bob McPherson said that he was extremely happy with the attendance. “Our first class kicks off on Monday January 29 and is open to seniors from all around the Clarence Valley,” Mr McPherson said. “The club also holds social outings outside the Computer Club, like bus trips etc,” he said. The club which has been running for 12 years and has 220 members offers a great service to seniors within the Clarence Valley. With technology rapidly changing, the club would love to have someone come in and teach about Apple products including Ipads and Iphones.
