Welcome to Ballina’s premier fun spot. Located in the centre of the Ballina CBD on the beautiful Richmond river, the Ballina Pool and Waterslide is a great place for the individual swimmer, aspiring swimmer and the entire family to have a splash and fun in a safe and beautiful pools and waterslide. Facilities include three pools catering for all ages and swimming abilities. There are three beautiful pools including a 50m Olympic pool (heated), a Learn-to-swim pool and a Toddler pool all situated across a large lawn area with palm trees adjacent to the Richmond river. Two fun waterslides offer a shorter slide for a more gentle ride, and a longer, faster slide for the waterslide enthusiast. Food and drinks can be purchased from the pool kiosk, and picnic tables are on the grounds for your use. Excellent coffee is available ( provided by local company Zoom ). The Kiosk also provides snacks, ice cold drinks and ice-creams. An excellent selection of both Speedo and Vorgee goggles as well as exercise belts etc.. are always in stock. Women’s and men’s change rooms are available for use on-site, and include toilet and heated shower facilities. Wheelchair access toilets and showers are also available in the change rooms. Wheelchair access ramps enable easy access to the pool grounds, where a disabled access hoist is available for use (for further information, contact the Pool Managers). The Centre is open weekdays 6am-6pm; Saturday 8am-6pm; Sundays and public holidays 9am-6pm. Waterslide open every day during the NSW School Holidays 10am to 4pm.
