On Saturday the Grafton Scout Group (Cubs and Scouts) participated in Clean up Australia Day in Corcoran Park. The youth, parents and leaders had a great time picking up everyone else’s rubbish (not really) especially the cigarette butts…. yuck….. one of the cubs tried to become an Archaeologist by trying to (and succeeding) at digging out a bottle that was stuck in the dirt good and proper. It was great to hear the positive comments by some of the users of the park at what we were doing… It sure did make our day. Well done everyone. Sue ‘Akela’ Day
