The Clarence Valley Ramblers Motorhome Chapter held a giant trash and treasure garage sale on Saturday at the Grafton Greyhound Track, with proceeds going to the Westpac Rescue Helicopter. Ramblers secretary Carol Randall said that there were about 20 stall holders that supported this year’s charity fund raiser. “We’d like to thank both the Grafton Greyhound Track and JR Richards, for their kind support for this year’s event,” Ms Randall said. The Clarence Valley Ramblers have 130 members and are part of the Caravan and Motorhome Club of Australia [CMCA], Australia’s largest RV Club and the largest RV Club in the Southern Hemisphere. The Ramblers are looking forward to their 20th anniversary in February next year, with celebrations to take place at Brooms Head, where the group held its first meeting.
