Clarence Valley community encouraged to share generosity once again

Since 2015, the kindness and consideration of Clarence Valley residents has helped to make a significant contribution to Australian charity Share the Dignity, who have donated close to four million personal hygiene and sanitary items to at-risk and vulnerable women in need across local communities, through their biannual dignity drives.

And as Share the Dignity prepares to launch their first dignity drive for 2023 on March 1, they are encouraging Clarence Valley residents to give generously once again.

All products in their original packaging including pads, tampons, maternity pads, period pants, and menstrual cups can be delivered to a number of drop off points, including Woolworths at Grafton Shoppingworld, the Friendlies Pharmacy in Prince Street, Grafton, and Southside Pharmacy in South Grafton.

This year, Share the Dignity is aiming to collect and donate over 500000 period products.

The current dignity drive will run throughout the entire month of March, with a second one to follow in August.
