The ‘Garden Group’s’ bus trip to Lismore on Sunday September 22 sadly will not take place.  

The ‘Twilight Time Cruise’ on September 26 is getting close and by September 19 payment is required. ‘Clarence Coast Theatrical Society’ is staging ‘Mary Poppins’ at the Maclean Civic Hall this month. For those interested in going to the 2pm matinee on Sunday 29, contact Patricia via tocru3a@gmail.com. Adult tickets are $20; students over 13 are $15; and concession and children under 12 are $12. Lunch beforehand at the Ex Services Club would complete the day.

Further ahead in October ALBoC is booking for ‘Muriel’s Wedding the Musical’ at QPAC on Saturday 5th. Cost will be $210 and includes ticket, transport, delicious morning tea and lucky seat prizes. Tickets are still available, again contact Patricia via tocru3a@gmail.com

The next ‘Camping Group’s’ camp out will be up towards the Armidale road near Ebor alongside the Styx River on October 16 for a few days. Contact Col via tocru3a@gmail.com

If the great outdoors does not entice then the ‘Chess Group’ which is suitable for beginners as well as experienced players maybe the answer. Venue is The Roundhouse, Palm Lake Resort on Thursday mornings 9-12.
