Clarence ladder leaders

In a season which has been severely affected by the wet weather, the cream has still risen to the top in Clarence football despite the limited number of fixtures.

The Westlawn Panthers lead the way in the Men’s 2nd Division North competition, while Grafton United and the Maclean Bobcats both sit at the top of the Men’s 3rd Division North ladder on 22 points, with United having a game in hand and a superior goal difference.

The Yamba Breakers have been the standout team so far in the Women’s 2nd Division North, with six wins from their seven matches.

Clarence football has also produced some top junior teams this season, with matches recently returning to be played in venues such as Barnier Park and Rushforth Park, after being out of action earlier in the season.

The Westlawn Tigers sit undefeated at the top of the 16s competition, having won all of their games this season.

The Tigers also lead the way in the 12s competition, with the Yamba Breakers and Grafton United the ladder leaders in their respective 13s and 15s competitions.
